Columbus State Athletics Camps

The Columbus State University Athletics Department provides numerous opportunities for athletes of all ages to develop their skills in a safe, fun and sportsmanlike environment. Campers will be taught by one of the top coaching staffs in the nation in addition to having the chance to make new friends and memories. Our goal is to improve and challenge athletes on an athletic and individual level that will eventually lead to success on and off the field. CSU Youth Baseball Camp

The CSU Youth Baseball Camp is for young baseball players aged 5-13 years old of all ability ranges. Players will work on throwing, catching, hitting and baserunning. Players will be divided according to age and ability level. Players will work on position play, perform drill work, and play competitive games. The camp is held at Columbus State's Ragsdale Field, home of the Cougars.

Elite Camp
The Elite basketball camp is designed for 6th -12th grade boys who would like the opportunity to learn more advanced fundamentals and skills from our Columbus State Men's Basketball Coaching staff. The young men will also participate in 5 on 5 scrimmage situations against high level talent around the Southeast region.

Individual Camp
Columbus State Men's Basketball will provide basketball instruction and competition in a fun small-group environment. Youth athletes who attend camp will receive instruction from coaches regarding fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting everyday. Coaches and participants will benefit from shared knowledge, energy, and love for the game. Ages 6-15.

Team Camp
CSU's Team Basketball Camp is designed for all public and private high school and middle school basketball teams in the Southeast region. The camp provides participating teams with high level competition and excellent facilities for a first-class quality experience. Shooters Camp
This camp is designed to help players improve their shooting technique. Campers will work on three point shots, free throws and shooting off the dribble. The Men’s and Women’s coaching staff will be providing instruction. Campers will meet at the Lumpkin Center on the CSU campus.

Girls and Boys Individual Basketball Camp

The Columbus State Women's basketball program will deliver pro-level basketball knowledge and competition in a specific growth model environment for all skill levels. This camp is for boys and girls who will not only improve their basketball skills but also how to implement those into games. Half day will consist of individual training, skill games, and half court and full court competition. Full day will get that plus lunch at the cafeteria, team games, and getting to swim in the most amazing pool here in the Student Rec Center. Elite Camp

The Columbus State women's basketball program Elite Camp is for the high school player seeking the opportunity to learn more advanced fundamentals and skills from an elite collegiate coaching staff. Campers will have the chance to interact with some of our current Lady Cougar basketball players as well as participating in 5-on-5 scrimmage situations against high-level talent around the region. Team Camp

The Columbus State women's basketball Team Camp provides your team the opportunity to compete against some of the finest high schools in the Southeast Region, and gives your players the chance to meet collegiate coaches to help kickstart the recruiting process. Our 2023 camp included East Coweta, Lanier, Grayson, Hardaway, and many others. Make sure you don't miss the chance to compete with these fine programs! This camp has an option for middle schoolers as well in addition to JV and varsity teams. Your teams will play in some of the nicest NCAA DII facilities, including the Frank G. 55th Annual CSU Cheerleading Camp

Come learn from one of the best Division II programs in the country, the seven-time National Champions, and multi-time Peach Belt Champions, and nationally-ranked CSU Cheerleaders. The 55th Annual Columbus State University Cheerleading Camp will feature cheers, chants, jumps, dances and a lot of fun. The week will end on Friday morning with a Pep Rally for family and friends. The CSU Cheerleaders will offer guidance in all aspects of cheerleading. Campers will meet at the Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center on the main campus. CSU Winter College ID Clinic for Girls

College ID Clinic - Registration will be at the Walden Soccer Complex from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. on Saturday morning and camp will officially start with a meeting at the Walden Soccer Field at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 4 p.m.

Individual Camp

The Columbus State Individual Soccer Camp is one of the most popular camps offered by CSU, with full or half day options being provided. Campers will get instruction from one of the best NCAA soccer staffs in the nation and have a blast interacting with current and former Cougar soccer players. The half-day camper will get hands-on instruction and play small group games from 9 a.m. to noon. The full-day camper will get that plus lunch in the CSU Cafe, indoor soccer actives and swimming in the CSU Recreation Center! The campers will meet at the Walden Soccer Complex on the CSU campus.
