Matt Aldrich is in his fourth year as an assistant coach with the Columbus State University baseball program in 2017-18. Overall, this marks his sixth year with the program after two seasons as a player and three as a student/graduate assistant.
Aldrich spent two years in uniform with the Cougars, making six appearances on the mound. His collegiate career started at Valdosta State and then he later transferred to Darton State in Albany, Ga. where he became a junior college All-American.
In the spring of 2015, Aldrich graduated from Columbus State with his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He graduated with his Master’s in Public Administration in May of 2017.
