Jordan Griffin

Jordan Griffin is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach on the Columbus State men's basketball coaching staff. Griffin is a native of Memphis, Tenn. where he attended White Station High School.

Griffin graduated from The University of Tennessee Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration.

Griffin was a two-year student assistant with the UTC men’s basketball program. In those two years, the program won 40 games, while finishing top two in the league in both seasons.

Griffin was the head assistant basketball coach and head JV and freshmen coach at Red Bank High school in Chattanooga for the 2015-16 season, where the varsity team won 16 games for the first time in six seasons. The team also finished in the top four in district and region tournament.

Griffin has also served as the assistant coach and head freshmen coach at Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Ariz. The Red Mountain program won its first regional championship in school history and completed the season winning 18 games, making it to the state tournament.

Griffin was the head coach for three seasons for one of the top AAU programs in the South, Chattanooga Elite. His teams had a record of 77-26 over 3 seasons, while finishing as runner-up in the 2015 AAU Division 3 Nationals, and winning the AAU Division 2 Nationals Classic Bracket.

Griffin has also completed internships with the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA, and served as a head coach for the hoop group in Stroudsburg, Pa.

Jordan Completed his Bachelors of Science in Sport Management at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2016, and Completed his Masters of Science of Organizational Leadership at Columbus State University in 2018
