RJ Noord brings his passion for basketball to his role as a Graduate Assistant for the Columbus State men’s program. Noord launched his playing career with two seasons at Elon University at the Division I level, then completed his eligibility at Edward Waters University, demonstrating adaptability and determination throughout. 

Noord earned recognition as a McDonald’s All-American nominee and a member of the 2024–25 NABC Academic Honors Court, a testament to his drive and dedication in excelling both athletically and academically.

Expanding his impact beyond the court, Noord passionately built a robust background in scouting and player development. He thrived as a Southeast Regional Scout and Journalist for OnTheRadarHoops, one of the nation’s premier scouting services, and spent two years inspiring athletes as Senior Skills Trainer and Director for EliteHoops Basketball Club in Chamblee, Georgia.
