Camila Tobar is also serving her third year as the Columbus State University men’s and women’s tennis graduate assistant.
An alumnus of the program from 2013-17, Tobar was a fierce competitor in singles and doubles. In 2016, she earned All-Peach Belt Conference First Team Singles, All-PBC First Team Doubles, ITA All-American Doubles, and ITA Southeast Region Player to Watch. Tobar also earned All-PBC Second Team Doubles in 2017. When she wasn’t playing tennis, she worked at country clubs teaching players of all levels the game.
A native of Pereira, Colombia, Tobar received her bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from Columbus State. She is now pursuing her master’s degree in cybersecurity management at Columbus State.
