WINGATE, N.C. – The Columbus State University cross country teams wrapped up their seasons on Saturday competing at the NCAA Southeast Regional. The meet was hosted by Wingate University.

The Columbus State men finished in eighth place overall, while the women took home 13
th.

Wright Calhoun and Austin Kidd turned in the top finishes of the morning for the Cougars taking 38
th and 39
th place, respectively. Calhoun posted a time of 33:50.19 with Kidd right behind him in 33:53.61.

Noah Hollis placed 47
th in 34:06.70, with William Michael finishing 66
th in 34:54.82 and Charles Asouzu 68
th in 34:58.41.

Isaac Krumm (35:22.80, 83
rd) and Christopher Oswald (35:34.34, 85
th) also ran for CSU.

Jastonie Hill was the fastest Lady Cougar on the course on Saturday, taking 38
th place overall in 24:16.02. Eva Salazar Torres was less than one minute behind her teammate in 24:52.03 for 61
st.
