COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University Athletic Department announced a multi-year partnership with Nike through BSN SPORTS on Wednesday.
 
The agreement, which begins with the 2018-19 academic year, will provide Nike footwear, apparel and uniforms for each of CSU's 13 sport programs, while promoting and elevating the Columbus State University brand.
 
"We are thrilled to officially partner with Nike through BSN Sports in providing our teams and student-athletes with uniforms and footwear as they continue to represent Columbus State University at the highest levels of NCAA Division II competition," Director of Athletics Todd Reeser said. "With most of our teams already wearing Nike, this agreement will provide consistency in brand and style that our recruits will identify with and our student-athletes will benefit from every day."
 
The partnership is part of the BSN SPORTS Collegiate Select program, which aims to make BSN SPORTS a one-stop provider for all collegiate athletic, intramural, club and staff apparel and equipment.
 
"This agreement with Columbus State affirms our highest aspirations for BSN's Collegiate Select program: delivering elite, customized products and services to our college customers," Bill Stote, Collegiate Select Vice President added. "We are excited to partner with the Cougars to elevate the performance and impact of their top-notch and growing athletic program."
 
The agreement includes numerous incentives in the form of discounts and rewards along with incentives for on-field achievements and additional marketing and promotional opportunities. Additionally, the CSU club football and men's lacrosse teams will also benefit from the new agreement.
 
Columbus State University features 13 NCAA sanctioned sports and two spirit programs that compete in the Peach Belt Conference. The Cougars are six-time PBC Commissioner's Cup winners and have combined to win 106 PBC Championships and 16 National Championships.
