AMERICUS, Ga. – The Columbus State University men's tennis team bounced back with a 9-0 victory over Georgia Southwestern on Sunday. The Peach Belt Conference match was played in Americus.

Columbus State (7-2, 3-0 PBC) lost just five games in doubles play and seven in six singles matches.

KP Pannu and
Alvaro Regalado rolled 8-1 at first doubles, with
Shao-Yu Yu and
Arnold Kokulewski turning in a clean 8-0 showing at third.
Zach Whaanga and
Matei Avram needed a few more games, but came away with an 8-4 victory at the second spot.

Kokulewski was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at fourth singles for the Cougars. Avram, Yu and
John-Wesley Carlson all won by 6-1, 6-0 scores.

KP Pannu took down first singles 6-0, 6-2 and
Paul Sprengelmeijer was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at second.

The Cougars are at home on Monday for a nonconference tilt against Wingate. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Walden Tennis Center.
