No. 2 Cougars, No. 17 Flagler Ready for PBC Championship Rematch

CSU hasn't defeated the Saints since since Nov. 11, 2018.

COLUMBUS - The No. 2 Columbus State University women's soccer team will look for revenge on Sunday in a rematch of the Spring 2021 Peach Belt Conference Tournament championship match against Flagler College. Kickoff is at 4 p.m.

• Flagler has become one of the top programs in the Southeast Region over the past five seasons and once again are off to an impressive 6-1-1 start
• FC's lone loss of the year came at Lander University (2-1) on Oct. 2 
• The Saints are ranked 17th in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll but were the number one ranked DII team in the nation for the first three weeks of the season 
• FC hasn't been shutout this season, averaging the sixth-most goals per match (3.25) at the DII level 
• Josefine Nilsen (six), Andrea Fernandez (five) and Annie Habeeb (five) are all inside the top-seven in the PBC in goals scored. Habeeb is a two-time All-PBC selection and has scored 35 career goals, while Fernandez is 13th in the nation in assists with five. 
• Madison North and Amit Beilin have split time in net this season, rotating starts in goal. North has a 0.82 goals-against average, the fourth-best mark in the PBC, while Beilin's GAA is at 1.99.
• Since 2017, Flagler is 65-9-8 (.842 winning percentage) and appeared in the 2019 NCAA Tournament semifinals. The Saints are the two-time defending PBC Tournament and regular-season champions
