FAIRFIELD, Ala. - The Columbus State University men's basketball team defeated Miles College 64-57 Saturday evening inside the Knox-Windham Gym. CSU improves to 6-2 while Miles falls to 6-3.
After being down 35-30 after the first half of play, Columbus State rallied in the second and outscored Miles 34-22 to complete the road victory and continue the Cougars' five game win streak.
NOTES:
- Nelson Haskin continues his hot streak, scoring 23 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Haskin shot 77 percent (10-for-13) from the field and 67 percent (2-for-3) from the three-point line
- Demierre Black and Ledderius Jones both scored 12 points, with Black grabbing eight rebounds
- Grant Howars added 10 points, shooting 87 percent (7-for-8) from the free-throw line
