MORROW, Ga. - The No. 4 Columbus State University women's soccer team rolled to a 7-0 Peach Belt Conference win over Clayton State University on Wednesday. The match took place at Laker Field in Morrow, Ga.
SCORING BREAKDOWN
10th minute - Emma Beddow started the scoring early after converting on a penalty kick goal.
13th minute - Rachael Sweigard powered her third goal of the year less than three minutes later to add to the Cougar lead.
23rd minute - Freshman Sarah Hungerford began her scoring barrage after taking a pass from Sweigard to net her first collegiate goal.
52nd minute - Hungerford put in her second goal of the night following a corner kick.
54th minute - Once again, Beddow stepped to the penalty line to knock in a PK goal.
57th minute - Maria Kilset delivered a goal of the year nominee after connecting from long distance to put CSU ahead 6-0.
59th minute - Hungerford capped off the hat trick performance after a scrum in the box.

• Columbus State (4-1-1, 1-0-1 PBC) racked up the shots, tallying 43 in the match. CSU put 23 on target.
• Clayton State (0-5-0, 0-2-0) managed just nine shots.
• Hungerford had seven shots, while Anna Grady and Sweigard put up five.
• Sweigard ended the match with four total points (1 G, 2 A).
• Lizzie Hedrick grabbed the win in net after playing 64 minutes. She made three saves before giving way to Sara Halilhodzic, who rejected two shots.
