WINTER PARK, Fla. - The No. 15 Columbus State University women's soccer team rebounded on Sunday to collect a 3-1 victory over Rollins College at Barker Family Stadium.
SCORING BREAKDOWN
• It was a nearly scoreless first half before
Lauren Barnes found the back of the net off a pass from
Faith Knoedler in the 38th minute to put CSU (3-1-0) in front.
• Coming out of halftime, Rollins (3-1-1) wasted no time finding the equalizer. Sarah Skala scored less than 90 seconds into the half for her second goal of the year.

Michelle Medina gave the Cougars the spark they needed with a go-ahead goal in the 51st minute.

Emma Beddow added an insurance goal via a penalty kick to put CSU in front 3-1
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• The Tars outshot the Cougars 12-11, but CSU was more efficient. Columbus State had seven shots on goal compared to just four from Rollins.
• After having zero corner kicks in the first half, the Cougars ended the match with five.
• The teams combined for 32 fouls.

Lizzie Hedrick played 45 scoreless minutes to begin the match and saved the only shot she faced.
