COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University men's basketball team lost their second to last PBC game to the University of South Carolina Aiken Wednesday night. The Cougars are now 14-13 on the season and 7-10 in PBC play. The Pacers improve to 20-7 and 13-4 in PBC play.
The Cougars were hot on their home court to start. They were leading the Pacers with 7 minutes left in the first half. USCA went on a 16-0 run to steal the lead from CSU and they led at half 38-31.
The Pacers came out of halftime on fire as they shot 46 percent from the field and 44 percent from three. CSU shot 40 percent from three in the first half but in the second half they shot 23.5 percent from the three-point line.
