YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. - The Columbus State University baseball team drops their second straight game to Young Harris by a score of 13-1. The game went seven innings due to run rule. CSU is now 24-8 on the season and 11-6 in PBC play. Young Harris improves to 24-10 (14-8 PBC)
Young Harris was all over the Cougars as they knocked 18 hits in the contest. CSu got their lone run on an RBI ground ball from
Ian King in the second inning to scored
Colby Brabston.
Isaiah Hernandez was patient at the plate as he got on base twice via walk an dhe also had a hit in the contest.
Ian King and
Steven Minter also walked and had a hit on the day.
Eric Moore was outstanding out of the pen as he is one of few pitchers to shut down the Mountain Lion offense this year. Moore pitched a season-high of 3.1 innings of one run ball while also scattering four hits.Â
