FAIRBURN, Ga. - Columbus State University Men's Cross Country continued action on Friday morning at the Georgia Tech XC Invitational at Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn, Ga.

The Cougars produced an 11th-place finish out of 16 teams in the 8K race that saw 150-plus individual runners.

Elijah Sires led the way with a time of 27:03.9 for 41st and was followed by Nicholas Phillips in 58th with a time of 27:45.1. McDonald Tandoh recorded a time of 29:00.1 to finish 85th.

Ethan Sanders finished 110th with a time of 30:10.6 with Jonah Simpson and Logan Terwilliger following in 114th and 116th, respectively. Rounding out the Cougars were Owen Hartshorn and Zane Bell in 119th and 126th, respectively.

Columbus State will return to action next weekend at the UAH Chargers Invite in Huntsville, Ala.
