Win Johns each had one hit a piece for the Cougars.
The Mountain Lions scored two runs in the second, third and fifth innings, then recorded seven runs in the top of the seventh, putting pressure on CSU to score because of the run-rule that was in affect. The Cougars scored one run in the fourth thanks to a bases loaded sacrifice fly out by
Isaiah Hernandez, scoring
Derek Wylie from third who led the inning off with a walk.
