COLUMBUS - The Columbus State men's basketball team lost 88-64 Saturday afternoon to USC Aiken in the Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. Center. With the loss, the Cougars fall to 12-11 (6-8 PBC).
After a very close first half of play, USC Aiken took control of the second half to win the Peach Belt Conference game on the road. The Cougars only trailed the Pacers by three going into halftime (35-32), but USCA scored 53 points in the second half whereas CSU only scored 32 again.
Wisdom Uboh and
Jarrett Adderton each scored 15 points to lead the CSU offense.
Marquis Davison tallied 13 points and
Kordell Brown added 11.
Columbus State shot 38.5 percent from the field, 27.8 percent from three-point range and 79.2 percent from the free-throw line.

The Cougars will be on the road on Wednesday, Feb. 21 to play Flagler College at 7:30 p.m. in St. Augustine, Fla.
