VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Columbus State University men's golf team placed 15th at the Southeastern Collegiate hosted by Valdosta State University, shooting a 23-over 887.
The Cougars shot their best round on Tuesday, scoring a 295 as a team.
Martin Gruendemann led CSU with a score of 4-over 220, shooting his best score of 1-under par in the third round. He placed T41st.
Phil Snyman finished T45th with a score of 5-over 221. He also shot a 1-under par on Tuesday to move himself up the leaderboard.
Russell Makepeace dropped places after scoring a 5-over 72 in the third round to give him a total score of 7-over 223.
Bernard Meyer placed T71st, shooting 12-over 228 and
Trey Kelly placed 85th with a score of 16-over 232.

Columbus State will compete in the Bobcat Invitational on March 19-20 in Eatonton, Ga. The tournament is hosted by Georgia College.
