COLUMBUS - The 8th-ranked Columbus State men's tennis team fell to 3rd-ranked Flagler College 2-5 in a Peach Belt Conference match at the John W. Walden Tennis Center in Columbus Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Cougars drop to 9-5 (1-1 PBC).
The Cougars won the doubles match as the pairs of

Justin Welz and
Thomas Cardona/
Elias Peter beat their opponents in the second and third positions.
Flagler College dominated singles play, winning five of the six matches.
Andreas Sandrone was the only Cougar to win in singles, beating his opponent 6-2, 6-2 in the sixth spot. Welz and
Benedek Szombathelyi took their opponents into three sets, but couldn't turn out a win.

The Cougars will travel to Greenwood, S.C. on April 6 to play PBC foe Lander University at 11 a.m.
