PENSACOLA, Fla. - The Columbus State University men's golf team placed sixth in the Argonaut Invitational hosted by the University of West Florida.
The Cougars jumped five places on the leaderboard after the third round of play, shooting 2-over on Tuesday. CSU's total score was 11-over.
Bernard Meyer had another impressive performance on Tuesday, shooting an even par for the third straight time to place him T17th. The sophomore climbed the leaderboard 11 places after the third round to finish in the top-20.
Martin Gruendemann and
Karan Nalam each T27th, shooting 2-over par total. Gruendemann jumped 36 places on Tuesday, shooting 3-under in the final round, while Nalam improved six places after shooting 1-over.
Russell Makepeace T52nd with a score of 8-over, shooting 4-over in the third round. Blake Parman placed 83rd with a score of 25-over.
