COLUMBUS – The Columbus State Women's Basketball team came up just short on Wednesday night, falling 62-59 to Eckerd College in a tight matchup at the Lumpkin Center.

Despite the momentum swing, the Lady Cougars battled back, outscoring the Tritons 21–16 and giving themselves chances late, but key shots wouldn't fall as Eckerd held on for the win.
