2025 CSU Athletic Hall of Fame Class Announced

Olivia Jarrell, Christophe Noblet, Dusty DeVore, and David Hart are set to be inducted to the illustrious club on Oct. 18, 2025

COLUMBUS – Columbus State University Athletics and the Athletics Hall of Fame Committee are proud to announce the 2025 Hall of Fame class of inductees, highlighting four impactful Cougars who have represented the CSU red and blue so well.
 
Four former Cougars will be enshrined into the illustrious club on October 18th during the CSU Homecoming Weekend festivities. This year's Class of 2025 includes, soccer student-athlete Olivia Jarrell, tennis student-athlete and graduate assistant Christophe Noblet, baseball student-athlete Dusty DeVore, and tennis student-athlete and longtime CSU contributor David Hart.
 
The class spans generations of Cougar excellence, celebrating athletic dominance, coaching leadership, and lasting impact on the CSU community. These four honorees represent the highest standards of achievement, character, and commitment that define the rich tradition of being a CSU Cougar.
 
"I am proud to announce the newest class of CSU Hall of Fame inductees, it is always a pleasure to honor those who have represented Columbus State so well," Hall of Fame President Scott Miller stated. "This year we had some incredible nominees which is a testament at the history of success here in Columbus."
 
The Columbus State University Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1995 to honor and memorialize those participants in athletics who have made major contributions in at least one sport and have brought recognition and prominence to the university. Eligibility for membership include student-athletes, coaches, and others who have made major contributions to the athletic program through personal time, effort, and interest.

"It is an honor to induct this special group of individuals into the Columbus State Athletic Hall of Fame," Director of Athletics Justin Hay said. "Thank you to Scott Miller and the entire Hall of Fame Committee for electing another outstanding class of CSU student-athletes and contributors from an amazing group of nominees. We look forward to honoring this class this fall!"
 
The ceremony will take place on October 18th, in the Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center. This ceremony will be a part of the many Homecoming Week festivities on campus and will be one of the several opportunities to honor the Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
 
Olivia Jarrell – Soccer (2015-2018)
 
Olivia Jarrell is one of the most decorated student-athletes to ever come through the women's soccer program, competing for the Cougars from 2015 to 2018. The four-time All-Peach Belt Conference selection, 2018 PBC Player of the Year, and 2015 PBC Freshman of the Year has left one of the most prolific legacies in CSU history, setting the standard for the women's soccer program.
 
The St. Augustine, Fla. native and All-Decade Team member holds the program record with 71 career goals and 171 career points, ranking fourth on the PBC's all-time list of leaders in both categories. She finished her career at CSU with 91 appearances and 86 starts. From the beginning to end, Jarrell set and held the standard as an offensive threat for the Cougars, scoring 17 or more goals in all four seasons. She led the PBC in scoring in 2015 and 2018 while also leading in total points in 2017 and 2018.
 
The 2018 United Soccer Coaches Southeast Region Player of the Year and PBC Select Sport Gold Ball winner has racked up numerous honors on the regional and national stages. She was named both All-Region and All-American seven times in her career between three national associations.
 
Olivia graduated from Columbus State with her bachelor's in accounting and now works in accounting while also the Assistant Director of Coaching at Ancient City Soccer Club. Out of college, Jarrell participated in the 2019 NWSL Draft and took part in the Houston Dash Training Camp in the same year.
 
Her professional career began in 2020 with Shelbourne FC in Ireland and she transitioned back to the United States in 2021 to compete in the WPSL where she was selected to the All-Great Lakes Conference Team as a member of the Cleveland Ambassadors. She returned to Columbus in 2022 to take part in the Columbus Rapids' inaugural season, leading the team in goals and points, eventually capturing the NISL's MVP title. Jarrell has since competed for the Jacksonville Armada of the WPSL for two seasons.
 
Christophe Noblet – Men's Tennis (2009-2012)
 
Christophe Noblet graced the tennis courts for as a student-athlete from 2009 to 2011 and served as a graduate assistant coach during the 2011-12 season, helping establish the foundation of recent national prominence for CSU Cougars tennis.
 
Noblet battled on the courts for CSU and was a large part in the program's four NCAA Tournament appearances from 2009-12. The All-PBC selection also helped guide CSU to the NCAA Final Four in 2010 and 2011, which were the first two of nine appearances in the semifinals. A native of France, Noblet earned national rankings in both singles and doubles play and was tabbed All-American in doubles alongside partner Gordan Divljak for the 2010-11 season.
 
As a graduate assistant, Noblet helped lead alongside Head Coach Evan Isaacs. During that time, the women's tennis program secured a NCAA Regional title and appeared in the NCAA National Quarterfinals while the men's team made it to the NCAA Regional finals.
 
Off the court, Noblet was named to the PBC Presidential Honor Roll and the PBC All-Academic Team during his time as a student-athlete. Noblet would then go on to earn his Master of Public Administration while as a graduate assistant coach.
 
He has since gone on to coach tennis at various levels before becoming the men's head coach at NCAA Division I Stetson University. He began working with the Hatters in 2012 and went on to be named the head coach in 2015 and has been the leader of the men's program for the last 10 seasons.
 
Dusty DeVore – Baseball (1994-1997)

Dusty DeVore was one of the premier power hitters in Division II baseball during his college career on top of being a solid first baseman for Columbus State baseball.

During his time at CSU, he totaled over 200 appearances for the Cougars and finished his career with a .282 batting average, posting 215 hits, 138 runs scored, 47 doubles, a pair of triples, 46 homers, and 172 runs batted in (RBIs). His 46 homers rank ninth in the PBC for all-time career home runs.

In his debut season as a freshman, he produced a batting average of .219, with a pair of home runs and 22 RBIs and improved significantly, achieving a batting average of .300, alongside 13 home runs and 44 RBIs in his sophomore season.

In 1996, during his junior season, DeVore had an impressive batting average of .297 and hit 22 home runs, ranking second in the nation. This remarkable achievement shattered the previous school record of 17 home runs. Additionally, he led his team with 62 RBIs and posted an outstanding slugging percentage of .658. He capped off his career with a .291 batting average in 1997 with 60 hits, 15 doubles, nine home runs, and 44 RBIs.

DeVore has gone on to become a successful business professional in Alpharetta, Ga. as an owner of his own company after graduating with his bachelor's degree from CSU. He credits his time at CSU for his athletic mentality and the focus doing the little things right which leads to taking care of bigger things.

David Hart – Tennis & Contributor (1974-1977)

David Hart has made an impact at Columbus State not only as a student-athlete but as a contributor after graduation.

Hart competed in three Division II National Tennis Tournaments in 1975, 1976, and 1977. He amassed a combined six South Atlantic Conference Championships in both doubles and singles play. In 1975, he was an SAC champion at no. 5 singles and no. 3 doubles, following with conference titles at no. 4 singles and no. 2 doubles in 1976.

In 1977, he had been named Co-Captain of the CSU Tennis Team and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. In addition, he claimed SAC championships at no. 2 singles and no. 1 doubles.

After CSU, David furthered his education at the University of Georgia's School of Law. He became CEO and Chairman at Mountville Mills, Inc. in LaGrange, Ga. but has since retired. In recognition of his achievements, David was awarded the Thomas Y. Whitley Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2022. He is also a member of the Shannon Society and created the Hart Family Scholarship Endowment to benefit students in the College of Letters and Sciences who have financial needs.

David has generously contributed to CSU Athletics for various initiatives and supports the Honors College and the CSU Fund. As a CSU Foundation Trustee, he chairs the Investment Committee, which has successfully grown the University's endowment to over $100 million.
