COLUMBUS, Ga. – Seven members of the Columbus State University Men's Basketball program were named to the 2025-26 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, the organization announced Wednesday.
Davis Byrnes, Nathan Eroh, Jackson Harris, Promise Idiaru, Tre Moore, Marlon Smith, and Pascal Volz earned academic recognition.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who completed the academic year with a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.2. More than 2,300 student-athletes from all levels of college basketball earned the honor for the 2025-26 academic year.
Smith, a senior general business major, paired his academic success with an outstanding season on the court. He was named an NABC Division II All-American, the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year, and a First Team All-PBC selection after averaging 18.3 points and 8.3 rebounds across 32 starts.
Volz, a junior communication major, started 26 of his 30 appearances and recorded 224 points, 86 rebounds, 47 assists, and 79 steals.
Eroh, a junior biology major, appeared in 24 games for the Cougars, while Byrnes and Harris each made nine appearances. Byrnes majors in general business, while Harris is pursuing a degree in chemistry.
Moore, a graduate student studying public administration, appeared in nine games and made one start. Idiaru is an interdisciplinary studies major.
The NABC presents its academic awards annually to teams and student-athletes from all levels of college basketball.
