Erik Krivitsky Joins Columbus State Women’s Soccer Coaching Staff

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Columbus State University women's soccer head coach Jay Entlich has announced the addition of Erik Krivitsky as an assistant coach. Krivitsky will officially join the three-time defending Peach Belt Conference Tournament champion Cougars on July 17th.

Krivitsky brings nearly a decade of coaching experience across the youth, high school, academy, and pre-professional levels, highlighted by his most recent role as the Assistant Director of the Racing Louisville Academy. The academy is affiliated with Racing Louisville FC, which competes in the National Women's Soccer League, the top flight of professional women's soccer in the United States.

"We are excited to bring Erik down to Columbus State University to help us continue finding ways to be successful on and off the field," Entlich said. "He brings a wealth of experience at so many levels and will jump in right away on July 18th at our Summer College ID Camp, when we have so many talented players from across the country coming to campus.

"Erik will be asked to work with our field players and help us try to get back on top of the PBC. Erik's commitment to the women's game has been huge over the past several years, and his commitment to coaching education shows that he is always trying to get better."

In his role with the Racing Louisville Academy, Krivitsky oversaw player development for the U15-U19 age groups, designed the club's training curriculum and periodization model, led coach education initiatives, and helped guide players through the college recruiting process.

He also coached with Racing Louisville's USL W League team.

As an academy coach, Krivitsky worked with ECNL teams from the U15 through U19 levels, focusing on player development, tactical education, video analysis, and individualized development plans.

Before joining Racing Louisville, Krivitsky spent eight years with Atletico Flames/Elizabethtown FC. He coached players ranging from U9 through U19 and served on the club's Board of Directors. During his tenure, Krivitsky helped develop the club's training curriculum and led its college recruiting efforts.

He was named the 2023 Kentucky Girls Competitive Coach of the Year.

Krivitsky also brings extensive experience at the high school level. He served as the head girls soccer coach at John Hardin High School from 2017-22 and most recently worked as an assistant varsity girls soccer coach at Central Hardin High School.

"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join the Columbus State University program and become part of a staff that is committed to developing outstanding student-athletes while building a culture of excellence," Krivitsky said. "What excited me most about this opportunity was the chance to work alongside passionate coaches who share the same vision for player development and competitive success.

"Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to work with players at every stage of the development pathway. I look forward to bringing that experience, along with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous growth, to the team. I truly appreciate Coach Jay for trusting that I can bring a positive change to the program and welcoming me into the Cougar family. I'm excited to get to work, build meaningful relationships, and help our student-athletes reach their highest potential both on and off the field."
