DAHLONEGA, Ga. | The Columbus State University Men's Golf team finished seventh at the Lake Lanier Collegiate Classic after three rounds of competition at Achasta Golf Club, hosted by the University of North Georgia.

The Cougars finished the 54-hole event at one-over par after posting rounds of even par, five-under, and six-over. CSU's second-round five-under performance was its best round of the tournament.

Frederick Chappell led Columbus State individually, tying for 17th at three-under par. Chappell closed the tournament with an even-par 70 in the final round.

William Partner finished tied for 22nd at one-under par after firing a one-under 69 in the final round. Will Coffman tied for 39th at three-over par, while Luke Friend finished tied for 58th at seven-over.

Bryant Vail rounded out the CSU lineup, tying for 64th at nine-over par.
