2014 (RS Junior): Returned to the Cougars' starting rotation after Tommy John arm surgery in 2013...Pitched in 15 games posting a 5-4 record with a 4.20 ERA...threw 79.1 innings allowing 72 hits and striking out 74 batters...Had an outstanding start in the Southeast Regional against conference foe USC Aiken.

2013 (Junior): Received medical hardship after an arm injury in his second start...Will return in 2014 as a junior.

2011-12 (Kennesaw State University): Played two seasons for head coach Mike Sansing…was used as a left-handed specialist in the Owl bullpen in his freshman and sophomore seasons.

High School: Graduated from Sprayberry High School in Marietta, GA…Played three seasons for head coach Phil Henderson…led Cobb County in strikeouts in his senior year…Played for Nelson Baseball in the summer under Coach Brian Nelson.

Personal: Son of Russell and Dorothy Ferguson…Lists Chipper Jones as his favorite professional athlete…Enjoys watching movies in his spare time…Favorite food is tacos...majors in actuarial science.
