Columbus State University Athletics

Kenroy Jones, or K.J. as he is more commonly known, joined theCougars at the mid-season holiday break and comes from theNetherlands. He previously played at Kuyper College in GrandRapids, Michigan, last season before an injury ended his seasonafter just six games. 

High School:  K.J. is a graduate ofPierson College in his native Den Bosch.

Personal: Son of Nora Elaine Lawrence and hastwo sisters, Marsha (19) and Cristal (17)...Plans to pursue acareer in professional basketball, if possible, but also plans towork in the field physical therapy....Lists his favorite food asJamaican beef patty, his favorite movie as Superbad, and hisfavorite actor as Will Smith...Says he would love to one day beable to watch an NBA championship courtside...Lists his mom as hishero because "she has always been there for me and is the strongestperson I know."...His most memorable athletic achievement iswinning an international tournament in Switzerland and being namedan All-Star in that event...Says he chose CSU because "CSU choseme!
