Columbus - The goals came early and often as the fifth-ranked and top-seeded Columbus State University women's soccer team blitzed past eighth-seeded USC Aiken 5-0 on Tuesday night. The Peach Belt Conference tournament quarterfinal match was played at the Walden Soccer Complex.
The Lady Cougars now advance to the semifinal round in Evans, Ga. CSU will face the winner of UNC Pembroke and Lander at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
