Josh FullerSAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Wrapping up its fall season, the Columbus State University women's golf team finished tied for 14th place at the Flagler Fall Slam. The tournament took place at the Marsh Creek Country Club in Saint Augustine, Fla.Â
The Lady Cougars shot a 324 on Tuesday, matching their round one total. For the tournament, CSU shot a 648.Â
Barry won the event with a team score of 574, just one stroke over Florida Tech. Saint Leo, Montevallo and Seminole State rounded out the top five.Â
After a rough Monday, freshman Sarah Grace Drop had the best Lady Cougar score in round two shooting a five-over par 77. She finished the tournament tied with two other Lady Cougars in 64th place with a 36-hole total of 162.Â
Shelby Banta also finished in 64th place after shooting an eight-over par 80 Tuesday. Jordan Booker rounded out the Lady Cougar trio in 64th place carding a 12-over 84 in round two.Â
Bailey Hochgertle rounded out Columbus State's team scoring in round two. Hochgertle turned in an 11-over 83 to finish the tournament with a two-day score of 168.
Hannah Holland had CSU's drop score on Tuesday. Holland shot a 14-over 86. For the tournament, Holland posted a score of 165.Â
