COLUMBUS – The second-to-last regular season match for the fifth-ranked Columbus State University women's soccer team happens on Thursday, as the Lady Cougars travel to take on Armstrong State. The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Armstrong State Soccer Field.

Columbus State (13-2-0, 9-1-0 PBC) scored three first-half goals on its way to a 5-0 victory at Flagler last Saturday. The shutout was the 10
th of the season for the Lady Cougars.

th minute, in a match that ended in a two-all draw. CSU outshot the Pirates 23-8, including 8-1 in the two overtime periods.

Armstrong (12-1-2, 8-0-2) enters Thursday's match unbeaten in conference play. The Pirates are currently one point back of CSU in the conference standings.

The Pirates suffered their only loss of the season in the year's first match, falling 2-0 at Embry-Riddle.

Armstrong has tied twice this season, including a 1-1 draw at UNC Pembroke on Monday.
