COLUMBUS – The second-to-last regular season match for the fifth-ranked Columbus State University women's soccer team happens on Thursday, as the Lady Cougars travel to take on Armstrong State. The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Armstrong State Soccer Field.
Last Time Out
Columbus State (13-2-0, 9-1-0 PBC) scored three first-half goals on its way to a 5-0 victory at Flagler last Saturday. The shutout was the 10
th of the season for the Lady Cougars.

Series History
Thursday's matchup will be the 19
th all-time between the two conference rivals with CSU holding a 10-5-3 edge overall. The pair has met four times in the Peach Belt Conference championship match and twice in the NCAA Tournament.
Last Meeting
Nicole Corcione netted a pair of goals, including the game-tying goal in the 76
th minute, in a match that ended in a two-all draw. CSU outshot the Pirates 23-8, including 8-1 in the two overtime periods.
About Armstrong State
Armstrong (12-1-2, 8-0-2) enters Thursday's match unbeaten in conference play. The Pirates are currently one point back of CSU in the conference standings.
The Pirates suffered their only loss of the season in the year's first match, falling 2-0 at Embry-Riddle.
Armstrong has tied twice this season, including a 1-1 draw at UNC Pembroke on Monday.
Senior Sarah Olin and junior Jenny Allen lead the Pirates with seven goals apiece.
CSU Notes
Columbus State's shutout of Flagler on Saturday extended the team's streak of clean sheets to seven matches.
The Lady Cougars have not allowed a goal over the last 663 minutes of play.
Olivia Jarrell and
Cassandra Wade each scored their 10
th goal of the year on Saturday, leading the Columbus State offense that ranks second in the country in scoring.
CSU currently leads the PBC with 10 shutouts this season. The Lady Cougars have led the league in that category in 10 of the last 11 years.
