COLUMBUS – The final match of the regular season happens Saturday for the fifth-ranked Columbus State University women's soccer team, as the Lady Cougars host Georgia College. The Peach Belt Conference match is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Walden Soccer Complex.
Saturday is Senior Day for the Lady Cougars and the recognition of CSU's senior class will take place following the match.
Last Time Out
Mandy Janowitz scored a pair of goals to lead the Lady Cougars to a 3-0 victory at Armstrong State on Thursday night. The win was the ninth straight for Columbus State.
Entlich on the Matchup
"Our first goal every year is to win the Peach Belt Conference regular season and we have done that. Now, we want to keep our momentum going heading into the postseason. Georgia College needs a result to have a chance at getting into the conference tournament, so we know they will come at us with their best."
Series History
Columbus State holds a 12-1-4 lead over Georgia College in the all-time series, including a pair of victories last season. Georgia College's only win over CSU came during the 2013 PBC Tournament.

Taylor Marks scored in the 10
th minute and the Lady Cougars added two more after halftime for a 3-0 win over the Bobcats in the PBC Semifinals on November 6, 2015 in Evans, Ga. CSU outshot Georgia College 26-4 in the match.

Georgia College (7-7-1, 4-7-0 PBC) enters Saturday's match one point back of Montevallo for the eighth spot in the Peach Belt Conference.
The Bobcats need a victory, coupled with a Montevallo loss or tie against USC Aiken, to qualify for next week's PBC Tournament.
GC picked up a victory in its most recent contest, defeating Lander 2-0 on Wednesday night in Milledgeville.
Junior Amanda Bartholomew leads the Bobcats in scoring with eight goals on the season. No other player has more than three.
CSU Notes
By virtue of UNC Pembroke's loss Friday morning, Columbus State (14-2-0, 10-1-0) captured its 10
th PBC regular season championship.
The Lady Cougars added another shutout to its streak on Thursday night, blanking Armstrong State for their eighth straight clean sheet. The program record is nine set during the 2008 season.
Columbus State has not allowed a goal in 753 minutes of play, outscoring opponents 44-0 during that stretch.
Maylyn Parsons tied the CSU and PBC career record with her 25th shutout against Armstrong State.
Cassandra Wade now leads the Lady Cougars in goals after scoring her 11
th on Thursday night.
CSU is the top scoring offense in the Peach Belt Conference and has five of the top nine in the league in points.
