COLUMBUS – For the 10
th time in 13 years as a program, the fifth-ranked and top-seeded Columbus State University women's soccer program will play for the Peach Belt Conference tournament championship. The Lady Cougars will take on 17
th-ranked and second-seeded North Georgia on Sunday with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Ga.

Olivia Jarrell turned in a pair of first-half goals and
Nicole Corcione added another after halftime as the Lady Cougars rolled past Armstrong State 3-1 in Friday's PBC semifinal round. The win was the eighth straight for the Lady Cougars in PBC Tournament play.

"North Georgia is a very good team. We have had a lot of really close matches with them over the last few years and we know that we have to be at our best if we want to win on Sunday."
Series History
Sunday's match will be the 19
th all-time meeting between the two programs, with Columbus State holding a 15-2-1 advantage. This will be the second time CSU and North Georgia have met this season and sixth over the last three years. The two sides are meeting for the third consecutive season in the PBC championship match, with CSU claiming one-goal victories in 2014 and 2015.
Last Meeting
Columbus State jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first half and held on for a 3-2 win over the Nighthawks on September 21 in Dahlonega.

About North Georgia
North Georgia (14-1-3) arrived in Sunday's championship match after a 4-0 win over third-seeded UNC Pembroke.
The Nighthawks have lost just five matches over the last two seasons, four of which came against CSU.
Since falling in September to the Lady Cougars, North Georgia is 11-0-2 in its last 13 matches.
First Team All-PBC selection Rachel VanHorn leads the conference in goals with 19 on the season, including two in each of the first two conference tournament matches.
CSU Notes
Columbus State (17-2-0) is aiming for its seventh overall and third straight PBC tournament championship on Sunday.
The Lady Cougars won their 12
th straight match on Friday, the third consecutive season with a double-digit win streak for CSU.
Olivia Jarrell upped her season goal total to 16 with her two tallies on Friday night, bringing the sophomore within just one of her total during her freshman season.
With three more on Friday, CSU is up to 84 goals on the season. The Lady Cougars set a new program record in 2015 with 86 overall.
