Stephen WilliamsPOOLER, Ga. – In its third round in two days, the Columbus State University women's golf team posted a team score of 340 on Tuesday and finished 12
th at the Armstrong Pirate Women's Invitational. The two-day tournament was played at the Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Ga.

Columbus State ended with a three-round score of 1013.

Armstrong State (921) captured the title in its home event, 10 strokes ahead of West Georgia (931). UNC Pembroke (936) took third, with West Alabama (951) and Mount Olive (953) rounding out the top five.

Hannah Holland continued to sit atop the team score for the Lady Cougars on Tuesday. The freshman added a round of 10-over par 82 to her total to finish in 30
th place.

Bailey Hochgertle and
Shelby Banta each turned in rounds of 84 in the final round. Hochgertle tied for 39
th place, while Banta ended in 57
th.

Sarah Grace Drop carded 90 on the second day and
Jordan Booker closed out the tournament with a 92. The pair finished in 60
th and 61
st place, respectively.

Columbus State's next tournament will come in three weeks as the Lady Cougars travel to Birmingham, Ala. to play in the Samford Intercollegiate.
