SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Columbus State University women's golf team dropped a spot to seventh place on Saturday at the Peach Belt Conference Championship. The tournament is being played at the Slammer and Squire Course in Saint Augustine, Fla.

Columbus State posted a team score of 345 on Saturday to up its total for the championship to 673.

Armstrong State (609) holds a nine-shot lead over UNC Pembroke (618) heading into the final round. Flagler (621), Montevallo (631) and Young Harris (643) round out the top five.

The low score on Saturday belonged to
Jordan Booker for the Lady Cougars. The freshman shot a 12-over par 84 in her second round. She is tied for 26
th place overall. Booker will head into the third round tied with
Bailey Hochgertle, who carded an 89 on Saturday.

Sarah Grace Drop posted a round of 85 and is tied for 30
th.
Shelby Banta and
Hannah Holland shot rounds of 87 and 90, respectively. Banta is in 33
rd place, while Holland is 34
th.

The conference championship wraps up with the final 18 holes on Sunday.
