COLUMBUS – After a tough loss on Wednesday night, the Columbus State University men's basketball team will try to get back in the win column on Saturday at Lander. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. inside Horne Arena in Greenwood, S.C.
Last Time Out
Columbus State led for the majority of the first half, but trailed at halftime and Young Harris pulled away in the second for a 90-79 victory.
JaCori Payne led CSU with 25 points and
Darius Joell added 21.
Marcus Dixon recorded a double-double of 10 points and 13 boards.

"We need to start playing better on the road. We can't let Wednesday's loss affect us and start a losing streak. We need to come ready to play against a very good Lander team."
Series History
Saturday will mark the 49
th meeting between the two programs. CSU holds a 31-16 advantage in the all-time series.
Last Meeting
Columbus State put five players in double figures, including 30 points from
Cam Baker, but it wasn't enough as Lander defeated the Cougars 94-89 in Columbus last January.
About Lander
Lander (5-9, 2-3 PBC) has struggled this season, but picked up victories in its last two games.
The Bearcats defeated Georgia Southwestern in a double overtime thriller last week before taking down Flagler on Wednesday.
Lander's strongest area this season has been from the three-point line, where the Bearcats are making nearly nine per game at a 37.4 percent clip.
Senior JR Washington ranks sixth in the Peach Belt Conference at 18.8 points per night and is third with 36 made three-pointers.
CSU Notes
Columbus State (10-3, 3-3) is looking for its first road win in conference play on Saturday.
The Cougars were held below the 80-point mark for the first time this season against Young Harris.
CSU has the top-scoring duo in the conference in Payne (19.5) and Joell (17.1), who rank fourth and 10
th in the league, respectively.
Dixon's double-double on Wednesday was his fourth of the season, as the junior continues to lead the PBC in rebounding.
