COLUMBUS – Down to just five matches remaining in the regular season, the 16
th-ranked Columbus State University women's soccer team hits the road on Saturday to take on Francis Marion. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. in Florence, S.C.

Columbus State (9-1-0, 6-1-0 PBC) blitzed Young Harris with four goals in a 12-minute span on its way to a 6-1 victory on Wednesday.
Olivia Jarrell netted a pair of goals along with two assists.

Columbus State found the back of the net nine times in the first 39 minutes en route to a 9-0 shutout victory last October.
Cassandra Wade was one of three Lady Cougars with a pair of goals in the win.
Series History
CSU and Francis Marion have only met twice, with FMU defeating the Lady Cougars 4-1 in CSU's inaugural season of 2004 and CSU's victory last year.

Francis Marion (4-6-0, 1-5-0) snapped a five-match losing streak on Wednesday night with a 3-2 overtime victory at USC Aiken.
The Patriots had been shut out in each of the previous five losses.
FMU has been doubled up on the scoreboard this season, allowing 22 goals while scoring just 11.
A trio of freshmen lead the Patriots in scoring with Dayle McEwen, Kylie McElroy and Megan Misuraca combining for 10 of the 11 goals.
CSU Notes
With six more goals on Wednesday, CSU added to its Division II leading goals per game average, now up to 4.70.
Olivia Jarrell is heating up for the Lady Cougars with six goals over the last four matches.
Jarrell is up to 104 points for her career, just one shy of tying Stephanie Lowery for fourth place in the CSU record books.
Kelly Hendricks netted her first goal of the season Wednesday, becoming the 12
th different Lady Cougars to score this year.
