COLUMBUS – The eighth-ranked Columbus State University women's soccer team will take to the road on Wednesday for a nonconference tilt against Tusculum. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. in Greenville, Tenn.

Last Meeting
Columbus State tallied three goals in each half en route to a 6-1 victory at Tusculum in September of 2014. Kelsey Pelletier led the Lady Cougars with two goals and two assists.
Series History
Wednesday will be the ninth all-time meeting between the two programs. Columbus State holds a narrow 5-3 edge, but the series is even at two at Tusculum. The Lady Cougars have won the last four matches between the two.
About Tusculum
Tusculum (10-4-0) is currently tied for third in the South Atlantic Conference and coming off a double overtime win against Catawba.
The Pioneers are 0-2-0 against ranked opponents this season, falling 2-1 at Limestone and 3-0 to Carson-Newman.
TC scores just 1.93 goals per match, but has been stout defensively holding a 0.99 goals-against average.
The Pioneers have spread the scoring around this season, with Jordan Newby leading the team at five goals.
CSU Notes
Columbus State has won nine consecutive matches, outscoring the opposition 47-6 during that span.
Olivia Jarrell and
Riley Clark each recorded their fourth multi-goal matches of the season on Saturday, giving CSU 15 multi-goal efforts this season.
With the two goals on Saturday, Jarrell has now moved into second place on CSU's all-time goal-scoring list with 49.
Despite missing four matches due to injury, Clark is now up to 12 goals on the season in just eight matches.
