COLUMBUS – The regular season comes to a close on Saturday for the eighth-ranked Columbus State University women's soccer team, as the Lady Cougars travel to Georgia College. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. in Milledgeville.

Last Time Out
Columbus State (13-1-0, 8-1-0 PBC) used an early goal from Riley Clark and three second-half goals to take down Tusculum 4-0 on Saturday. Cassandra Wade added her 10th goal of the season and Olivia Jarrell netted two more goals in the victory.

"Georgia College has played very well all year long and enters as a hot team. It's their Senior Day and we know they will be fired up, so it's important for us to come out and play our game."
Last Meeting
The Lady Cougars scored two goals in the first 10 minutes on their way to an 8-0 defeat of Georgia College last October. Olivia Jarrell turned in a hat trick in the win as CSU outshot the Bobcats 29-3.

Saturday will be the 19th all-time meeting between the two programs, with Columbus State holding a 13-1-4 mark against GC. Georgia College has been held scoreless in 13 of the previous 18 matchups.

Georgia College (10-5-0, 6-3-0) enters Saturday on a five-match winning streak after defeating Lander 3-1 on Wednesday.
The Bobcats are currently in sixth place in the PBC, but a win could vault them as high as third.
GC ranks as the fourth-best scoring team in the conference, averaging 2.60 goals per match, while giving up 1.45.
Junior Amanda Bartholomew is having an outstanding season, leading the PBC with 19 goals and 44 points.
CSU Notes
Olivia Jarrell has been on a tear for the Lady Cougars, scoring 12 goals in the last eight matches with five multi-goal performances.
The junior has also tallied six assists in that span and is currently tied with Flo Spano for the conference lead.
Riley Clark has been on fire as well, tallying eight goals in the six matches since she returned from injury.
Jarrell and Clark rank as the top scoring tandem in the PBC with 15 and 13 goals, respectively.
