COLUMBUS – Winners of three straight, the Columbus State University women's soccer team travels to Morrow, Ga. on Wednesday night for a conference tilt against Clayton State. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

th minute to lift the Lady Cougars to a 2-1 victory over Lander on Saturday. The goal was the second of the match for the junior, who also scored on a corner kick in the first half.

Clayton State (3-5-0, 1-3-0) snapped a four-match losing streak on Saturday with a 6-0 win over Francis Marion.
The previous four losses all came by one goal, including a 2-1 loss against ninth-ranked Carson-Newman.

Ann-Cathrin Zabel leads Clayton State in scoring with six goals on the season, including a hat trick in Saturday's win.

Wednesday is CSU's first match in the month of October, a month its has dominated over the last three years.

The Lady Cougars continue to lead the Peach Belt Conference in goals per game at 3.71, which ranks second in Division II.
