COLUMBUS – The 10
th-ranked Columbus State University women's soccer team will square off against UNC Pembroke on Sunday for the Peach Belt Conference Tournament title. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Blanchard Woods Park in Evans, Ga.

Last Time Out
Columbus State (15-2-0) picked up a pair of goals from Riley Clark and forced an own goal in a 3-1 victory over No. 18 Flagler. The two goals for Clark upped her total to 15 for the season.

Last Meeting
Scoreless into the second half, it was UNC Pembroke that scored first getting on the board in the 60
th minute. CSU answered back with a goal from Kimmy May six minutes later and
Olivia Jarrell netted the game-winner in the 82
nd minute for a 2-1 win in September in Columbus. The Lady Cougars outshot the Braves 26-3 on the afternoon.
Series History
CSU and UNCP have met 21 times overall, including seven previous matchups in the PBC Tournament. The Lady Cougars lead the overall series 17-3-1 and are 7-0-0 in postseason play. The two teams met in five straight postseasons from 2010-14.
About UNC Pembroke
UNC Pembroke (14-4-1) is making its second PBC Tournament title appearance, also getting there in 2008 where it lost to Columbus State 2-1.
The fourth-seeded Braves reached the final with 1-0 victories over fifth-seeded Georgia College and top-seeded North Georgia.
UNCP ranks as the best defensive side in the Peach Belt allowing 0.58 goals per match, but the Braves only score 1.58 offensively.
Alexis Pittman has scored both postseason goals for the Braves and leads the offensive attack with nine this season.
CSU Notes
The Lady Cougars are making their 11
th appearance in the PBC Championship in 14 years as a program.
CSU owns a PBC record seven tournament titles, including each of the last three.
After Friday's win,
Olivia Jarrell and Riley Clark are the only pair of teammates in Division II with at least 15 goals each.
Columbus State won its 15
th match of the season on Friday, marking the 13
th straight year the Lady Cougars have reached 15 wins.
