COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University men's basketball team will be on its home floor for the first time this season on Saturday in its Peach Belt Conference opener against Lander. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. inside the Lumpkin Center.

The Bearcats gave up a 10-point halftime lead in a 68-67 loss to Georgia College in their conference opener Monday.

LU is scoring just shy of 72 points per game this season, but hasn't cross the 70-point mark in either of its last two games.

The Cougars are trying to avoid their first four-game losing streak of
Robert Moore's tenure.

The last four-game slide for the Cougars came in February of 2010, one year prior to Moore taking over the program.

Columbus State has been good in the turnover department through three games, forcing 17 per game and scoring 18.3 points off turnovers.
