Both the D2CCA and the United Soccer Coaches came out with their 2018 All-American list which found Columbus State University women's soccer players
Olivia Jarrell and
Riley Clark selected to the United Soccer Coaches second team with Jarrell also selected to the D2CCA second team.
Jarrell is the third player in Columbus State women's soccer history to be selected as an All-American three times. The senior had another record-breaking season as she now sits atop the all-time record for most points and goals scored in program history.
This year Jarrell led the team in both goals and assists, putting 17 in the back of net while assisting on 11 other goals. Her 45 points placed her in second all time for most points scored in a Lady Cougar season, just one point shy of her own record from last year. Her 17 goals this season put her into a tie for 18
th in the country while she finished 15
th overall with her 11 assists.
This is the first All-American selection for the junior Clark who put up another monster season for the Lady Cougars. She finished with 16 goals this year to go along with seven assists. Her 16 goals on the pitch put her into a tie for 24
th in the nation while her 39 total points this season was the seventh highest in program history.
With 36 goals in her career so far Clark is already in the top ten in scoring in program history and has a chance to continue her success in her upcoming senior season.
