COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University men's basketball team will go for consecutive wins on Saturday, as Young Harris travels to the Lumpkin Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

Saturday is Fort Benning Appreciation Day inside the Lumpkin Center as the CSU basketball programs welcome members of our military. The day will feature special honorary coaches, halftime performances by the United States Army Drill Team, performance by the MCoE Band, food trucks setup outside the Lumpkin Center and more. Admission for Saturday's games is free.

With Wednesday's win, the Cougars have moved into a three-way tie for eighth place in the PBC with three games remaining.

CSU's final three games are against two teams tied for last in the PBC (Young Harris and Flagler) and Clayton State, which sits in second place.

The top eight teams in the standings will qualify for the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, which begins on Feb. 28.

The Cougars limited Georgia College to 59 points on Wednesday, their best defensive effort of the season.
