Flagler (9-15, 6-14) lost for the first time in three games on Saturday, falling 66-58 against Francis Marion.

The Saints are currently tied with Young Harris for the bottom spot in the PBC standings.

Flagler has been good defensively this season, ranking near the top of the league in defensive rebounding, opponents' field goal percentage and opponents' 3-point shooting.

Offensively, Vaughn McCall leads the Saints in scoring at 18.2 points per game, but had just 12 in the first game against CSU.

With back-to-back wins, the Cougars have moved into a tie for seventh place in the conference standings.

If the PBC Tournament started today, CSU would be the No. 8 seed and would travel to Clayton State next Wednesday.

Depending on the outcome of the last two games, the Cougars can get as high as the sixth seed.

Darius Joell has been strong in CSU's last two victories, averaging 19 points while shooting 67 percent.
