About Clayton State

The Lakers are tied with UNC Pembroke for the top spot in the PBC and can secure at least a share of the regular season title with a win on Saturday.

A win on Saturday would also make the Lakers the top seed in next week's PBC Tournament.

The Lakers are the top 3-point shooting team in the conference at 39.5 percent and lead the PBC in free throw shooting as well.

CSU Notes

The Cougars clinched their fifth straight PBC Tournament appearance with the win on Wednesday at Flagler.

CSU currently holds the seventh position, but could either be the No. 7 or No. 8 seed based upon Saturday's results.

The Cougars will be on the road for the quarterfinal round on Wednesday at either Clayton State or UNC Pembroke.

Darius Joell, JaCori Payne and Rudy Winters have all scored at least 20 points in each of the last two games.
