COLUMBUS - Looking for a Peach Belt Conference victory, the Columbus State University women's soccer team returns home to take on sixth-ranked Flagler on Wednesday. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the Walden Soccer Complex with real-time statistics and live video available on CSUCougars.com.
Wednesday's game is also Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day with the Lady Cougars wearing teal uniforms that will be auctioned off following the match.

About the Columbus State University Lady Cougars
Columbus State will be looking to bounce back after falling 2-1 in overtime to UNC Pembroke on Saturday.Â
The Lady Cougars are in search of their first Peach Belt Conference win of the season against Flagler. CSU has dropped back-to-back matches in conference play for the first time since 2013.Â
CSU won its last time out at the Walden Soccer Complex 3-0 against Catawba on Sept. 25.Â
About the Flagler College Saints
Flagler is off to a perfect 6-0 start in 2019 after knocking off Young Harris 5-1 on Saturday.Â
The Saints are currently ranked sixth in the nation. It's the highest ranking for the Saints since Oct. 10, 2017 when they were ranked No. 5.
Sara Sandberg has been excellent for the Saints this season. She has been named the PBC Player of the Week for all four weeks as she leads the conference in goals (eight) and points (20).
Series History
Columbus State has an all-time record of 13-0 against Flagler. Last season, CSU defeated the Saints twice, including a 4-0 victory in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

• Columbus State will be playing its fourth ranked opponent of the season on Wednesday.Â
• Flagler will be CSU's second top-10 foe of the season. The Lady Cougars took on fourth-ranked Grand Valley State University on Sept. 21.Â

• Senior Riley Clark scored her 40th career goal on Saturday. She became one of only six players in CSU history and 13 in Peach Belt Conference history to reach the milestone.Â

Columbus State continues to have a very balanced scoring attack. Against Catawba on Sept. 25, three different players scored goals with Amanda Murphy becoming the eighth different Lady Cougar to find the back of the net this season. With Ireland Bryant and Bre Harvey adding assists in the match, 12 players have recorded a point through eight matches.

The Walden Soccer Complex has been very good to Columbus State through the years. Since 2014, CSU is 49-3-1 on its home pitch.
Entlich Among the Nation's BestÂ
Since starting the program in 2004, Jay Entlich has established CSU women's soccer into a national powerhouse. With an overall record of 263-60-24 at CSU, he is the winningest coach in PBC history. His overall coaching record of 285-76-24 puts him eighth all-time at the NCAA Division II level.
He has coached four PBC Player of the Year award winners and has been named the conference's Coach of the Year in every season since 2014.
