COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's soccer team will close out its nonconference schedule on Wednesday hosting Nova Southeastern. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m. at the Walden Soccer Complex with real-time statistics and live video available on CSUCougars.com.

About the Columbus State University Lady Cougars
Columbus State will look to win its third consecutive match on Wednesday. The Lady Cougars grabbed a 4-0 win against Young Harris and a 3-1 road victory at Clayton State last week.
The Lady Cougars are 4-2 against nonconference opponents this season.
CSU has scored seven goals in its previous two matches. It's the most in a two-match stretch since Sept. 9 & Sept. 13.
About the Nova Southeastern University Sharks
Nova Southeastern will bring a 15-match regular season unbeaten streak to Columbus on Wednesday. The Sharks are 10-0-1 this season.
In its latest match, Nova played to a scoreless draw against Tampa. Columbus State defeated Tampa 3-1 in Columbus on Sept. 13.
The Sharks lead the nation in six different statistical categories, including goals (44) and goals-against average (0.09). NSU has allowed just one goal all season.
Series History
Wednesday's match will be just the third meeting all-time between Columbus State and Nova Southeastern, and the first in Columbus. CSU is 2-0-0 against the Sharks, including a 3-1 victory in Fort Lauderdale last season.

• Columbus State will be looking for a three-match winning streak for the second time this season. CSU started the year off by winning its first three contests.
• With CSU's three goals against Clayton State, CSU has now scored three or more goals in back-to-back matches.
• The Lady Cougars have scored three or more goals in six matches this season.
• Columbus State ranks 24th in the nation in total goals with 29.
• In their last 12 matches against Sunshine State Conference opponents, CSU is 8-3-1. In 2019, the Lady Cougars are a perfect 3-0-0.
Clark, Goodfellow Earn PBC Weekly Awards
For the first time this season, Columbus State players were honored by the Peach Belt Conference for their play. Riley Clark was named the PBC Player of the Week while Madeline Goodfellow was tabbed as the Defender of the Week.
Clark scored four goals last week to earn the honors while Goodfellow helped limit Young Harris to just four shots in the shutout victory.
Climbing the Record Book
Riley Clark is in the midst of one of the best stretches of her career. The senior has now scored in five straight matches, the longest such streak in her career, and collected her third career hat trick against Clayton State.
She is now fifth all-time in Columbus State history with 46 goals while ranking 10th in the Peach Belt Conference record book. She also became just the 12th player in conference history to join the 100-point club.
Flo Spano is also moving up on the all-time assist list in Columbus State history. After grabbing two more against Clayton State, the senior now has 27 in her career to rank fourth all-time.
Balanced Scoring Attack
Columbus State has found goals from a variety of different players so far this season. Against Young Harris last Wednesday, Bre Harvey and Maddie DeFranco got into the goal column becoming the ninth and 10th different players to score for the Lady Cougars. Overall, 14 players have recorded a point so far in 2019.
Entlich Among the Nation's Best
Since starting the program in 2004, Jay Entlich has established CSU women's soccer into a national powerhouse. With an overall record of 265-62-24 at CSU, he is the winningest coach in PBC history. His overall coaching record of 287-78-24 puts him eighth all-time at the NCAA Division II level.
He has coached four PBC Player of the Year award winners and has been named the conference's Coach of the Year in every season since 2014.
