COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University men's basketball team begins a busy week inside the Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center on Wednesday, Jan. 26, when it hosts Georgia Southwestern University at 7:30 p.m. Fans are being encouraged to wear white for "White Out Night".
LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars had to rally from a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat the University of North Georgia 78-71.

Grant Howard (14) all scored in double-figures, with Howard exploding for 12 in the second-half comeback effort.
CSU NOTES
• The Cougars are 6-1 at home this season, including winning back-to-back contests
• Over the past four games, Preston is averaging 22 points and 9.3 rebounds with two double-doubles. Preston is currently fifth in the Peach Belt Conference in field goal percentage (49.7%) and ranks inside the top-15 in scoring (14.1 ppg.) and rebounding (6.5 rebs/g).
• CSU's defense ranks 17th at the NCAA DII level in total blocks (74) with
Nelson Haskin ranking 10th individually with 39.
SCOUTING GEORGIA SOUTHWESTERN
• Georgia Southwestern (6-10, 2-6 PBC) have won back-to-back games, including collecting a 62-61 upset over Lander University on Saturday. GSW played a make-up game on Monday, defeating Young Harris College 86-76.
• Donte Tatum is pacing the Hurricanes offense by averaging 16.9 points and 2.9 assists per game. Jarrett Adderton chips in 12 points per night
• GSW ranks near the bottom in the PBC in scoring, averaging just over 71 points per game. The Canes have scored over 75 points just twice in PBC play this year.
SERIES HISTORY
• The Cougars lead the all-time series between the schools 16-13 since GSW joined the NCAA ranks during the 2006-07 season.
• CSU has dominated the series of late, winning five in a row dating back to the 2018-19 season. The Cougars won a tight 72-70 game last season in Americus.
