GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) released the 2023 Women's Soccer All-America Teams and Columbus State University's
Emma Beddow was honored on the third team.
A first-team All-Conference and All-Region selection, Beddow led Columbus State with 14 goals, 11 assists, 39 points and a 0.557 shots on goal percentage. The junior forward started and played in all 21 games for the Cougars as the leading scorer with five game-winning goals.
The Savannah, Ga. native also was 3-for-4 in penalty goals. She was fourth in the PBC in goals, second in assists and third in points. She is tied for 13th in PBC career goals and is 12th in career points.
Communication professionals from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the three D2CCA All-America teams. The process begins at the regional level with all first-team all-region picks advancing to the national ballot. A total of 40 student-athletes filled out the three teams.
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education.
