COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's soccer team begins Peach Belt Conference play with No. 10 Flagler College on Saturday, Sept. 16 in St. Augustine, Fla. Kickoff is set for noon.
The Cougars and Saints have had a competitive history being the top-two teams in the PBC for years. Just recently in the 2022 season, Columbus State won the regular-season title, but Flagler beat the Cougars in the PBC Tournament 1-0. However, CSU got it's revenge, defeating the Saints in the Southeast Regional Championship game, in double-overtime and penalty kicks, to advance to the Super-Regional.
CSU holds a 14-5-4 record with Flagler, with the longest winning streak totaling 13 games and only posting a two-game losing streak. In the last 10 matchups CSU posts a 1-5-4 record with the Saints, but in St. Augustine, the Cougars are 7-0-1.Â
